Commitment
Lansdale Presbyterian Church is a church committed to spreading the Word of God to the world, both locally and abroad.
World Missions
On the world and national scene we support missionaries in foreign countries as well as individuals and organizations in the United States.
Our missions committee keeps the congregation abreast of our foreign and local missionary individuals and organizations. Prayer requests appear weekly in our church bulletin, and brief reports are published in our newsletter.
Frequently throughout the year, visiting missionaries will share a message during morning worship, speak to our Sunday School classes, and share with us on a Sunday evening. In addition, our annual missions conference focuses on specific missions fields or themes.
Local Outreach
Locally, we have an Evangelism Committee whose purpose is to:
- Equip our congregation to share the gospel message (1 Pet. 3:15).
- Encourage our congregation to be involved in evangelistic outreach
- Praying for the Lost
- Inviting people to church activities
- Participating in special outreach efforts
- Sharing the gospel with others.
- Coordinate specific outreach activities and a ministry to visitors.
- Encourage and assist our church boards, committees and ministries to "think outreach" in their planning of activities.
