"Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." Psalm 33:1-3
There are many different opportunities for people of all ages to become involved in the different music ministries at Lansdale Presbyterian Church. Our Sanctuary Band, Handbell Choir, and Senior Choir offer places for everyone to share their musical abilities.
The Sanctuary Band features talented guitarists, percussionist, keyboard players, brass players and vocalists. Our band has played not only for our 8:30 am Contemporary Worship Service but also at other events such as school and community fairs and other local churches.
The Handbell Choir has been performing in our church for several years. Although many experienced ringers return each year to participate, newcomers are always welcome. Adding to our traditional service at 11:00 am is our Senior Choir. This group welcomes members from high school age on up. They gather for practice each Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm and enjoy a time of rehearsal, fellowship and prayer. The group also sings for special services such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Easter.
