This ministry to the senior citizens of the congregation and community has been in existence for over ten years. It is an outreach to senior citizens (the group welcomes anyone age 60 and up!) designed to provide social and spiritual fellowship with other seniors. They meet monthly from March through December. Unlike many other ministries which take the summer off, this group has taken off the winter months when poor weather condition can make coming out to monthly events difficult.

SLIC conducts a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of senior citizens. Past activities have included movie and soup days, Christmas dinners, picnics at Peace Valley Park, and many more! Often special speakers are engaged to come out and speak to the group on relative topics such as "Safety for Seniors". Missionary speakers that our church supports have also come and shared slides and updates about their work.

SLIC normally meets the second Wednesday of each month, although dates occasionally change due to availability of speakers and places. For more information you may contact the church office.
